The Assembly Place-TS Group JV bags contract for foreign healthcare workers’ lodging facilities
A joint business between Singapore co-living broker The Assembly Place and TS Group, a contractor of large-scale hotel for foreign staffs and the senior, has become part of a commitment with MOH Holdings to make, retrofit and use three lodging facilities for foreign health care employees that are new to Singapore. The facilities lie at 1A Short Street, 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent, and 207 Circuit Road.
MOH Holdings had introduced a demand for proposal in August of nin 2023 to select a manager to retrofit uninhabited buildings and take care of hostel-type rental for all new offshore medical care workers on five sites, covering the locations at 1A Short Street, 107 Circuit Road and 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent. 1A Short Street is the site of a past student hostel, while the latter 2 are spots of former colleges.
The accommodations center at Short Street is aim to be functional by the 2nd half of this year, while the various other 2 spots will welcome healthcare experts in 1H2025. All together, the centers are anticipated to fit 1,180 overseas healthcare employees.
